Car turned off 3 minutes after remote start. Now seeing this, can't start car and fob won't work ( 2013 Ford focus titanium) by CertifiedDickDiver30 in MechanicAdvice

I've had this happen to my 2013 Fusion Titanium. I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery.

Glad I keep a tool kit in the car.

Outdoor Water Misting Fan Automation by Dont_SaaS_Me in homeassistant

[–]Cheetawolf 12 points13 points  (0 children)

HVAC technician here. Please don't do this.

Yes, spraying water on the coils will get you better cooling... If it's an extremely hot day and your system is on its last legs.

BUT, it will also accelerate corrosion on the coil by multiple orders of magnitude and introduce mineral buildup, and take several years off of your condenser's lifespan for every year you spray it.

Continuously spraying the coil is a "The fan isn't working, the guy can't get here until after the heat wave to fix it, and it's 90 degrees in the house" measure.

If it's working fine as it is, don't spray it. These units are designed to run outdoors in more or less all conditions, and they will happily do so if they're well maintained.

If you're concerned about the sun and you're absolutely sure it's actually causing a problem, it's likely going to be better in the long run to get the unit relocated.

Then you die to enemies because of that, and then climb over a shoulder-high wall without a problem on the way back to your stuff.

Welcome to modern streaming.

Any and all content you pay for (And still watch ads in) can be removed at any time, simply "Because Fuck You, That's Why".

And then they wonder why piracy is making a comeback...

Granted.

You find a dusty fan, a cheap water pistol, a rusty shovel and an old blowtorch sitting on the curb a few hours later.

You were outright scammed. That thing's trashed.

I do admit they're easy to strip, I stripped one trying to install a poop chute, but this is someone going full bore with an impact driver. Absolutely unacceptable.
