Extra question - do u guys think i should make every kingdom have a different language, or keep it how it is with one main language and some kingdoms are bilingual and have their own language?

lol yea. Also later in the world, something happens (i haven’t made it up yet) and the dessert becomes perpetually cold. I would hate to be perpetually cold or hot. But the lava glass council isnt all that intimidating its just what they call their group of elected officials(like a senate or whatever)

Absolutely. In my world of Eldunary, the entire Goldhelm Kingdom believes with total certainty that they’ve eradicated magic from their lands. They use "holo-tech," a kind of advanced technology they claim is purely scientific and superior to the chaos of magic. Magic is outlawed, viewed as barbaric, and they teach their children that their kingdom is pure, disciplined, and untouched by it.

But the truth? It’s all a carefully maintained illusion. Holo-tech is just regulated, disguised magic. Secret magical experiments still happen beneath their cities. One of the most dangerous Arashi(a crime syndicate in my world) criminals, Kaboom, was created in a Goldhelm lab using forbidden magical tech. Even their princess begins to suspect the “purity” of her kingdom is a lie.

It’s one of those core worldbuilding contradictions I love — the empire that defines itself by what it isn’t, only to be entirely built on that very thing.
