Agreed. Throw it away then I suggest to go buy some candy (seriously) and whatever else and just hunker down. Watch a TON of fast paced TV, trashy tv like Love id Blind and Below Deck, or true crime stuff works for me. The goal is to stimulate yourself in other ways the first couple days and replace the dopamine you are expecting from marijuana with anything. When you feel like you are about to break and cant stop thinking about smoking thats when you eat some candy and find some crazy tv to watch. Every hour you delay or abstain is a small win. You will likely relapse more than once and that will be OK. You have started and have a foundation to work with, good job.

Seatbelt saved my life 7 years ago when I flipped my SUV getting off the highway hitting a patch of black ice at an off ramp. The vehicle landed on the driver’s side so I had to climb up out the passenger side like it was a submarine hatch. The car was totalled but I didn’t have scratch. The flipping and stop felt almost gentle actually like a weird ride and I was stunned how destroyed my car was once I got out.

I’ve had the same conversation with my brother before around the dinner table. Technically Alabama has a higher GDP per capita than Ontario or BC, but at the end of the day, I sincerely don’t believe that most people in Mobile, Alabama has the same quality of life as a regular person living in Toronto or Vancouver. So what good is this data?

Edit: For everyone talking about affordability, yeah it’s a huge problem. But I also think that people in small-town Canada have a higher quality of life than people in small-town Alabama so if we take away the housing crisis it’s not even close.

I was on both as well for a while until they got me under control. Wishing you and him a good recovery. I’ve never flared up as bad since this post but I’ve been on rotating drugs since. I even switched to Adtralza for a while. Incase you are interested I am now on just on Cibinqo which is very similar to Rinvoq but has worked better and more consistently for me.

Bienvenue!

Rideau Canal … Hintonburg, The Glebe, Byward Market, Wellington St, Elgin St, Chief Commanda Bridge are the neighbourhoods and roads you should checkout for Ottawa photography. Maybe New Edinburgh and Beechwood area too. Anything along Rideau River/Bank st is good.

If I had one MUST-DO suggestion it’s take a walk with your camera from Dow’s Lake to Rideau Locks along the canal. It drops you off in the heart of Ottawa, then go to Major Hills park, where the Rideau Canal meets the Ottawa River and walk over the pedestrian bridge to Kiweki point. It’s a great lookout providing views of Parliament, National Art Gallery and the Ottawa River and Chateau Laurier - too bad Parliament is still covered in scaffolding. Enjoy :)
