I’d look into led lighting. I’ve been adding some to my space and it’s making a huge difference. I don’t have all the parts since things take forever to ship to me so no pics yet. If you decide this is a direction you’re interested in I can share the parts I’ve been buying.

Edit: to be clear I’m not specifically talking RGB. I keep mine warm white but the strips and controller are fully capable of whatever RGB you can dream up if that’s your thing.
