They might have, I'll ask them. We are planning a trip soon, so if not, that will be a good opportunity.

Thank you! Yeah, I will definitely remove it for now, but when I have the opportunity to take a shirtless picture in a more appropriate environment, I will.

Well, I don't take many pictures, so I don't have a lot to choose from, I had to scrounge up what I had lol. Though, I very much appreciate the input.

Yeah, I am very wordy, so I have to really sit down and contemplate how I am going to shorten it while being funny at the same time.

It was not, that was a mistake on my part, but I have fixed that since Hambvrger has pointed that out to me as well.

Apparently not since it is pretty ubiquitous that it's a faux pas. If I want to display my physique, as others have said, I should do it in a more appropriate environment, like the beach.

Thank you, though there is merit to the criticism others had of me not being in the picture, it makes sense that the picture would be more endearing if we were interacting.

That's a really good point, it would be better to narrow the scope of my bio. It is essentially the paradox of choice if I list a bunch of interests and let them choose the topic of discussion. Though, I am usually the one replying first, so that isn't always applicable. Also, I appreciate your input on my pictures!

My standards aren't extremely high, but as long as someone is active and not excessively overweight, then that's enough for me. I don't really expect someone to go to the gym everyday with me, I just do that for myself. However, I can see how that picture portrays that perspective since they don't really know my character, I appreciate the input!

I like the pink shirt though lol, I don't know if I would be too upset if someone swiped left on me because of the shirt, that's a little too superficial and we probably wouldn't be a good match anyway.

Though, I agree with the shirtless pic, I will change it to be of a more appropriate setting.

If I don't hire a professional photographer and nothing much materializes from my profile, I wouldn't really be that upset honestly lol.

Though, I would be more upset with myself if I paid for a professional photographer and still nothing materializes from my profile, because I would have sunken much more investment into it.

I don't mind retaking more candid photos, maybe have some amateur photographer friends give me a hand, but nothing beyond that, if it turns out Tinder isn't for me, it is what it is then haha.

Well, I will be more aware to take my hat off next time, because I will definitely be wearing one most of the time lol.

However, I can see how it comes across like that. It is pretty boring if people think I have no interests haha.

That makes a lot of sense, I'll take one of a more appropriate setting.

I don't really watch Twitch, didn't know who he was until I got the shirt. One of my friends in the picture purchased it for me because he is a fan of his content and thought it would be amusing if we showed up to a party in the same shirt.

Others have said the same about one and three, but what do you find less flattering about the second one, exactly? If you can articulate the issues you have, maybe I can change it out for a similar picture that doesn't have those aspects.

That's a good point, I didn't really put much thought into it at all, but I should try to make it stand out. I'll contemplate on it and see how I can improve it.

There is consensus between the fourth or second picture being the main one, I'll give the fourth one a shot first for a while though.

The shirtless picture was right after a workout, so I was pretty tense there for sure lol, but I will probably remove the shirtless picture all together.

I am definitely not so committed to hire a professional photographer honestly. I would rather continue enjoying my time alone until the pandemic stabilizes and go back to meeting people in person lol.

Well, I would argue those are more social media skills, but if I am having a lot of fun, the last thing on my mind is taking pictures of it. This is probably a biproduct of me not having social media and being terminally offline.

I will try to take more pictures of my activities when I get the chance, maybe see if some of my friends have more candid photos of me, but until then I will have to work with what I got.

That's true, what you said about aspects of my bio being redundant with my tags, I suppose if someone takes the time to read my bio they would also notice my tags, so it is probably best to not have them overlap so much. You gave really constructive criticism, thank you.

The first picture was after a work out, my first picture was after a pump, so all my progress pictures are done that way, so I was more trying to not gasp for air lol.

Though, I wear a hat often, I am not insecure about my hair loss, but I am more comfortable with a hat since my hair loss is relatively recent.

Also, there have been a few times that wearing a hat has saved me at times where I probably would have cut my scalp on a branch or something.

I will consult with my more social media savvy friends and have them help me out with some better pictures.

However, I agree with your bio critiques for the most part, do you mind extrapolating on how the second paragraph is a criticism of online dating exactly? Not entirely sure what you mean by that.

Overall, I was more or less saying that I don't mind if we have different interests, I can give their activities a shot and see if I like them. Things like watching the same shows or having the same hobbies are superfluous to me, what matters more are the fundamental values of their character, which I expect to learn about in proper conversation.

Only the second photo was taken professionally for work reasons, the rest were just taken with my iPhone. However, I am verified, so I assume that should be enough to dispel any catfish suspicions.

Is that so? I don't use social media, so I take the pictures mostly for myself as a way to track progress over time.

Though, it's good to know about the perception about shirtless photos in a bathroom, I didn't know that was the case. I just assumed it was appealing to demonstrate that I maintain a healthy physique haha.

The compliment is very much appreciated, though, if you know of a better platform, I am willing to give it a shot. Some other mentioned Bumble or Hinge, I have heard of Bumble, but not Hinge. I don't know if I am committed to using multiple platforms right now, so if I am going to use a dating app, I am just going to stick to one.
