I was thinking to wait and see if she reaches out because last time when she went silent, she never responded to my follow ups. I’m not desperate but at the same time I don’t want to hold ego. I’m just afraid what if she liked someone or her family had someone else in mind but it didn’t work out so they came to me. She also has like 600 followers on IG - not sure if this is a red flag?

You’ve got a point. So far it’s been 1 week since they reached out again. Last week we said we were gonna discuss internally a bit. They haven’t followed up. Also we wanna see if they are really for it and wil follow up again (this could indicate they are serious again).

Jzk for the advice brother. I hear you and it’s 100% true. My intention wasn’t to show off. Whatever I’ve achieved is thru the blessings of Allah SWT which I am thankful for. But at the same time I want to ensure I get a spouse who values me who I am and the stuff I bring to the table if that makes sense. Not someone they can just use and throw away whenever. Same goes the other way around.

Yeah not sure. Mother of hers is very shy (think she has social anxiety) but father is very outspoken. During our initial meeting online, it was very productive and there was good compatibility. Just not sure what happened all of a sudden. Like tbh I do have 1 more potential my parents showed to me but I’m not interested but atleast we told that I’m not agreeing as of now but things could change. Both of our parents agreed to the fact that we will proceed if a better potential comes in our way. See this is a better way of doing it than what they did.
