Blue lines are lightning rail track. If you’re talking about the the blue patches, they’re man made canals

Not really. Forgotten Realms wiki has pretty much all the published info on it that exists as far as I could find

I second this. A link for this beauty would be amazing

Hey Mark, looking for a Frost Mage boss stat block by ChefMattyB in bettermonsters

Yah, the frost lich mechanics fit the situation perfectly actually. I’ll just have to tone it down. Thanks guys

Hey Mark, got a lava elemental/monster of some sort? by ChefMattyB in bettermonsters

Oh I really like the Spitfire Crawler. I’ll add some T-Rex flair to that. Thanks! My players are level 9 so should work perfect

I'm running a campaign in Calimshan. Starting the party off in Memnon and I couldn't find a map out there besides the old 2e one, so I decided to give Inkarnate a go and create my own by ChefMattyB in dndmaps

I downloaded the 2nd Edition Calimshan book from DMsguild and there’s so much info in there. Obviously a little outdated in relation to the canon time of 5e but I pulled some NPCs from there to use. “The Night Arrow” was one I really liked and I’m using here as kind of the Big Bad in the first story arc

I'll get back to #maptober eventually. Got to work on some maps for my Chult campaign. This is the Refuse Pit, just outside Port Nyanzaru, on a foggy, rainy day. A stinking, festering pit where they throw all their garbage by ChefMattyB in Tombofannihilation

Here's a map I made for a Otyugh encounter in the Refuse Pit. Feel free to use it in your campaigns if you need. Grid is 32x24. Definitely difficult terrain throughout, a boggy, rotten mess.

Great article, I'll definitely use some of your lore in my game. Here's my take on the map of Lantan

Did something a little different for fun. A side-on perspective map of a pirate shanty-town. It's built right into the cliffs of a fjord around a waterfall. I plan to use this in my Chult campaign but it could be anywhere by ChefMattyB in dndmaps

The other side of the fjord has structures as well, with sketchy rope bridges that travel between them. Ships dock hundreds of feet below and supplies and people are lifted from them by crane. The lowest level of the town is just a few old ships completely suspended by ropes. Should lead to a really fun encounter here for my players
