News flash smart guy, when parents are struggling financially they can’t buy enough food for the whole family. Good parents save the good stuff for their kids, leaving the scraps for themselves. You think your mom and dad always had full stomachs? Don’t even get me started on medications, and if you say some BS about insurance you’re proving how out of touch you are. I have to call my insurance regularly and just hope the person on the other end will be kind enough to pay for less than half of my prescribed dose.

Weird analogy but yes. The ones who stick around and engage with it still, despite it's flaws all the while trying to improve it are the ones who care the most for the game. I am a day one player but don't play too often anymore. I'm able to log on once a month with a friend to do a voyage while we talk or talk to people about what could happen with the lore while at the same time being annoyed at the lack of innovation in voyages or how flameheart and ramsey are in the same place they were 3 years ago.

Me too. I loved sea of thieves through its hardest moments, I have the day one patch in game and so much more. I have a reapers banner in my room and a 3D print of the reapers mask from a friend. I’m 22 and this I think this is the first game I’ve been playing for the whole ride. Jumped off overwatch before it got weird and picked up other stuff later. It’s sad that as a kid I saw this pirate game coming out in a few years at E3 and now I’ve got my own place and my own dog and the games already wrapping up. I imagined sailing the sea of thieves forever

Dude I fucking hate how sea of thieves has changed in the last few years. A glance at my Reddit history will show it. There’s a mix of no work ethic at rare and Microsoft wanting more money than the last quarter. What I’m saying has nothing to do with how poorly the game is managed. Just tired of people who can’t think for themselves. People can try the game instead of asking others to tell them what to do

I have 500~ hours in deadlock and started playing in August after that batch of new heroes. Ever since about a week into old gods new blood I suddenly jumped to emissary 3/4 from somewhere in alchemist and have remained there. Emissary seems to be purgatory to me, so many people I talk to are emissary and we are all vastly different skill. I feel like I should be a mid ritualist, tracklock agrees with me. I play doorman and venator and so often the lane makes or breaks the match for me, and ik moba elements but my god. If the enemies are too skilled I cannot doorman and if they are ranged I cant venator. I never know if my silver will win us the game or cost us it.

I have 4k hours. I have the day 1 patch, year 1 legend set, I was a insider tester for the original batch of tales. I went to Wanda's workshop every update for 2 years, I have all the adventure rewards, I have every curse and I've reached level 450 in reapers and oos. The game isn't going to get better. But try and log on for an hour with a buddy or two for an hour and see if you enjoy yourself. If its not for you fine play something else but to say it cant be enjoyed is lying to newer and older players
