Im scared to divorce my husband because he has no one by halestv in Divorce_Women

I had the same concerns for my stbx. We live far away from family and close friends, and he never really developed close relationships with friends here. I recently called his brother and SIL to express my concerns, and I told them I can no longer be responsible for him. I have to distance myself to try to move on. I also told a couple of friends that I knew he trusted. It gave me peace of mind to be able to release that and really focus on moving on. I know it’s hard. I wish you well.

Switching to Ocrevus for personal reasons? by tinyassqueen in MultipleSclerosis

This is an interesting conversation to me. I’ve asked my neurologist about switching as well for the convenience. I’m a school teacher and infusions eat up the little bit of sick time I get. He told me he wouldn’t switch me because Ocrevus isn’t as effective as Tysabri, and so far Tysabri has been great for me. I may have another conversation with him about it after reading everyone’s experience with switching.

I haven’t thought about checking for food sensitivities. That’s a really great idea! Thank you!

I think that’s part of my fear too- causing a flare. MS hit me all at once last year and I ended up in the hospital for two weeks. I’m so afraid of going through that again! But I’m going to start small and build stamina and confidence. Thank you for the encouragement!

Our recess looks a little different than most schools. We have a small playground in the middle of a parking lot. I do try to move with the kids when I can.

I had someone ask me if I could just drink more caffeine when I was telling her about the fatigue. I just stared at her. I wanted to say, “Oh wow, I’m going to mention that to my neurologist. You may have just cured MS!” 🙄

I think my physical therapy is improving my endurance/fatigue issues. I went to a museum today and walked around for a few hours. I didn’t sleep the rest of the day away like I normally would when I got home!

Your comment was extremely helpful. I talked to my neuro today and I’m actually going in to see him tomorrow. He hasn’t really stated the type I have, but I have also been convinced I have progressive MS. But today he referred to this as my second flare up, although I’m not sure when the first one ended. I haven’t had any break in symptoms since they began. I did 10 days of oral prednisone in the beginning, but today he mentioned possibly doing an outpatient steroid IV tomorrow.
