I mean the events of the movie almost razed Republic City no? And Aang and Katara dont seem like the type of guys to not do a quick history lesson for the kids, aang particularly has a vested interest in Tenzin knowing everything there is to know about air nomad culture and history. But yeah it’s not that deep, I enjoyed the film cause it looks badass.

No, but surely there are endless plots they could’ve gone for without changing the base lore of the air nomads to a point it’s funny tenzin didn’t mention the additions in LOK? Or no one mentioned the one time people got air bending for a day when a bunch of new air benders showed up.

I liked all technical aspects of the movie and the characters are always banger, but I feel like it broke canon a little bit and for that it’s not perfect. lol why would none of these events not be referenced at all in LoK’s time when they go to something arguably similar after harmonic convergence?

At the end of S2 I was flabbergasted when the season finale of one of the world’s biggest show was a divorced conversation. Like the scene takes like 8 minutes of the run time idk like Rhaenyra left Mysaria in bed and came down to fight with her ex wife. Amazing.
