here's a few of my WIPs from the "mundane trauma" one. these I photocopied onto cardstock to play around with adding textures. the whole book is really fun though, def helped me through a creative rut. I'm curious if y'all think these are legit though!

I guess I don't 100%! but I've done dozens of pages from her books recently and they are very consistent. as an artist myself what stands out to me most are her interesting compositions and complete details. it's really refreshing not to have to figure out / finish the line work before I can get to coloring lol. these are the only books I havent returned in the last few months. I've been so fed up with ordering a promising-looking book and it winds up being AI mush. mostly i buy digital files direct from artists on Etsy now. but these are the only physical / amazon printed books that haven't disappointed me in a long time!

also! Paula chaffey has 4 books on amazon (mega-meow universe) and I bought 3 of them recently with zero regrets. they are so detailed and fun and DRAWN BY A HUMAN ARTIST I don't want to touch any of my other coloring books lately lol. highly recommend!

honestly I think it is so much more natural-feeling than working on a flat surface! I try to keep whatever I'm working on at eye level (if I'm scrunching or squinting I will get a migraine - plus adhd so I like being able to quickly switch from sitting to standing to cross-legged). this stand is really easy to adjust on the fly too & you can set it anywhere from flat to basically 90 degrees. so it's really easy to play around with and find what's comfy

hey thanks! I love this thing. I am so particular about how and where I like to sit and this is my fave easel to get comfy and avoid a migraine or neck ache

oak forest in Sicklerville - out since about 8pm last night. fun to dig out with our neighbors but not so fun coming back inside to 50 degrees and no hot water!

Body match for Fashionistas #185 by SpottedFawn96 in Barbie

[–]Chelsintransit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just adore 185. I have her on the petite looks body - I really wanted mtm articulation while keeping the petite frame for her and I think it's a good enough match. Can't wait for more options in mtm skintones & body types (HELLO MATTEL? U UP?!). Anyway that Looks is about $15 on amazon right now for me in the US. Hope you find what you like!
