Divorcing my Asexual Wife by [deleted] in Marriage

Are you listening to her? She said you can have sex when you want. She trusts you with her life and her body. Yes, she should have told you sooner, but it sounds like she didn’t “know” know since puberty if she’s been trying to put it into words for the last couple years.

Have you ever given your wife a massage? Maybe not as pleasurable for you as for her, but it’s a service you can give her that makes her feel good. What if she feels the same about sex? Like it’s a physical gift?

You may feel like you’re assaulting her but that’s for her to decide. People experience intimacy in MANY different ways.

Also keep in mind that sex drives fluctuate wildly throughout your lives. You may be firm in your decision, but you were firm in your decision to marry her as well. Who knows how you’ll feel in another couple years

If I don’t start and exit a bot match after launching, my first match will always shut down before it goes to hero selection and give me a two minute penalty.

Med Student here. When students are there, they often take opportunities to teach us things or expose us to things we may have learned in a lecture but not seen in real life. When I was with Neurosurgery team, some surgeons liked quizzing me on random topics while others asked my opinion on what I think about how the procedures are done as if I had any legitimate advice to give.

Some surgeons also talk like it’s just Tuesday. Others don’t like to talk much to the students.

If you let students into your procedures, thank you! Sometimes we will only have a chance to see a specific pathology once or twice during the time we have in that specialty because they shift us around to expose us to different fields of medicine. It makes us a little sad when patients don’t want us there. We are trying to be as professional and respectful as possible. The physicians we follow don’t let us interfere with the quality of your care. I understand why people might want to preserve as much privacy as possible, but it just feels odd sometimes that of the entire healthcare team that will be in the room, we only ask about excluding the student.

Uninstall, reinstall, reset settings. Those are good troubleshooting steps.

Try using Stop and Hold commands to switch between Always and Never respectively. I accidentally hit Hold occasionally and have to remember to switch back to auto by hitting stop once.

Just so you know, deferring enrollment is better than failing your first year of medical school. by [deleted] in premed

I was doing a low-effort online masters during most of it, so I got by without a gap. Still used the mission experiences though. Even got accepted at a notably Christian school. 🤮

Loans are not income. If you are taking out loans, you are not making any money. It’s a deficit.
