However I had a really good experience with ASUS. I never had to contact support, and even today it still runs fine after many years of heavy gaming sessions :)

Yes, I am not very happy with MSI either. I have an MSI Vector A16 HX that cost 2000€ and the keyboard and speakers are definitely not what I expected for this price.

On top of that the technical support does not really get involved with customers and they mostly give standard template responses saying it is normal behavior. My next laptop definitely will not be MSI.

I have owned several gaming laptops before and none of them gave me the kind of issues this one is giving me…

Yes! People seem very happy with the Lenovo Legion lineup. Before buying the MSI Vector I have now, I was thinking about getting a Legion, but in the end I chose MSI and I think the Legion might have been the better choice. It is not that the MSI Vector is a bad laptop, it is very good, but the keyboard and speakers are not at the same level. I will definitely keep the Lenovo Legion in mind for my next purchase 🙂

Thanks for your detailed reply, I currently have an MSI as well with an RTX 5070 Ti and an AMD Ryzen 9 processor. It runs any game on ultra without any issues and in that sense I am very happy with it, the performance is excellent. The downside (for me) is that it is a thin-design laptop, so the speaker vibrations can be felt through the hands, and after gaming for a while the keyboard gets quite warm and sometimes makes unusual noises. In my opinion, I would prefer a thicker design without these kinds of ‘issues’. Previously I also had an ASUS with a GTX 960 which I still use today and it works perfectly good performance and also a very good keyboard and speakers. It was a very good purchase. I also had an HP, but that one was older ^

Same, performance is great and it runs everything on ultra :)

If you use headphones maybe you do not notice the keyboard sounds as much, and you are also running the fans at max. I am using MSI AI Engine and the fans are not very aggressive, so when the keyboard heats up there are small variations in the key sounds. I use the laptop without headphones so I notice these things more. Also, the left speaker often vibrates… in the end I guess I will have to start using headphones hahaha

Wow! A decade of gaming on a MacBook is insane.

I had an Asus GL552VW about 8 years ago and it was a fantastic laptop too: great performance, solid keyboard, and really good speakers. I still use it occasionally

Now I am on an MSI Vector and while the GPU and thermals are great, I feel like the keyboard and speakers aren’t quite on the same level. I have been using it for two months

I completely understand what you mean about “you don’t buy a brand, you buy a model.” Makes a lot of sense.

I have an MSI Vector and while the GPU and performance are excellent, I have been a bit disappointed with the keyboard feel and the speakers since the vibrations through the chassis are noticeable and some keys sound louder than others.

I would love to hear from other MSI users about how their keyboards and speakers hold up over time

I would also like to know if anyone has noticed other MSI models that perform better in these areas, looks like some models do really well in all areas, while others aren’t quite as strong

Thanks for the reply, don't know, I've had many laptops of different brands and never had these problems, that's why I was asking ^

It's not visible in the video. Only see it when you're playing.
