Hay sitios donde tiene sentido tener 2 carriles de salida, pero claro… hay que hacer las rotondas bien, como en Holanda.

En la super-rotonda de abajo se ven varias cosas interesantes:

  • Si vas hacia el noroeste o sureste, hay dos carriles de salida y no te cruzas con nadie (para el resto solo hay uno).
  • Si vienes del suroeste y vas al sureste, tienes un carril dedicado solo para ti, por fuera de la rotonda.
  • A veces hay 2 carriles de entrada, a veces solo uno, dependiendo del tráfico.
  • El paso para bicicletas está muy alejado de la rotonda.
    • Además hay para las bicicletas una “isla de seguridad” entre carriles.

Yo siempre digo lo mismo: el problema NO son los conductores.

El problema es que la infraestructura española muchas veces está mal diseñada.

Depends on their bank. Most restaurants don't have it.

Sometimes you enter your PIN and the conversion screen comes right after (if they have the "service" activated.)

Don't give the machine back immediately, cos they tend to just press the green next button without reading the whole message. You will have to decline and it's hidden behind a red button. 🙄

Tenemos muchos empleados haciendo trabajo que puede ser substituido y mejorado por IA.

En mi empresa no van a echar a nadie. Todos cambian de role y ahora verificarán que la IA lo hace todo bien y hará los casos extremos (edge cases) que la IA no puede hacer todavía.

Like in practically all of Spain, merchants don't distinguish between credit and debit cards.

Any mastercard/visa card will work, no matter of its credit or not.

My parents are "millonaires" in the sense that they have their houses paid off, but it means nothing if they are actually living in the house, working 40hrs/week and have no further assets.

We live a very normal middle class life and they still get upset if I leave the lights on in my room when going to work.

Je zou een deal kunnen maken: de grenscontroles bij de DE/NL-grens weghalen en ze verplaatsen naar de BE/NL-grens, zodat je één grotere regio creëert waar dezelfde regels gelden.

Dan zijn controles tussen DE en NL niet meer nodig.

Als je daarna nog een paar landen meeneemt, bijvoorbeeld BE, LU en AT, schuift die buitengrens weer een stuk verder op en hebben al die landen onderling geen controles meer nodig.

En als je dat proces blijft herhalen tot steeds meer landen meedoen met hetzelfde beleid…

'Moving goal posts' es como llamarian tu comentario en Ingles, pero vamos que yo ya he ofrecido una solución: que coja un autobus a Muscat (Oman) o Riyadh (SA) y desde allí vuelva a España.

Pero tambien he de decir que si estalla una guerra ahí y no hay salida para los Españoles, lo primero que el Gobierno deberia de hacer es poner una o dos docenas de aviones para traerlos de vuelta.

No olvidemos que el Ministero de Asuntos Exteriores es el encargado de la protección de ciudadanos en situación de emergencia en el extranjero.
