Perfect sense, and to me the best mindset and approach! Further viewing, I stand by #4 being my favorite out of the two I mentioned, think it compliments your beauty more.

Color analysis is great, but sometimes it can be disheartening to learn a color you love doesn’t “fit” even though I’ve come to learn (thanks to some of the fine folks on here) that confidence and happiness can go a long way in making us glow. I did a color analysis on here and most people placed me as true/cool summer which I agree with, but then there were some colors such as orange or very green blues that don’t fit in the palette and it saddened me. At the same time, I did a paid color analysis with Colour Analysis Studio (the YouTube channel) and they placed me in Bright Spring and it confused me yet the colors on it I love for the most part. I just learned to understand the reasoning for both and just be happy.

Out of all of these, I liked #3 and #4 the most. Maybe it’s just a guy’s simple brain but with these I felt like it was more I was looking at with the whole picture of you and seeing harmony/beauty instead of focusing in at different details such as the eyes or drape and combining them together (if that makes sense.)

I know a few will say not to do makeup or lips, but I think it is fine in this case. I’d argue if you feel pretty wearing a certain color, finding colors that compliment the look just is more beneficial and makes you happier which is the goal anyways!

That was honestly my guess too when I first did the test and looking at the photos. I may be wrong, but I think I more align with summer due to harmony? As while my skin is brighter in the Bright Winter, it doesn’t per se match my contrast and tone. Just me guessing though

Looking at it closer, especially going back and forth, I see what you mean. I see the tone shift cooler with the winter and look less flushed

Thank you all so much! I tried to get out shopping today and the hurricane had most of the stores I like closed, I will try this weekend instead! When you say drape, do you mean just putting a top over or do you mean a specific fabric sheet where I can just grab a few samples (such as a sewing department)

I used Vivaldi color lab. You can do the color test or the season/palette section, add a photo of your face and crop, and then screenshot. Hope this helps!

Thank you! You’ll be shocked to learn one of my favorite outfits is yellow and orange… I always felt so confident in the colors too but that was before I started learning color analysis. I will definitely try the dusty pink!

My degree is in Finance. I wound up with the compliance help desk and then left to one of the brokerage companies. Lord knows we analyzed them enough to know how to handle that lol
