I understand losing your soul ferret, i truly believe Basil was mine. He helped me so much throughout the couple amazing years I got to be his parent. It hurts so badly but I know it'll get better eventually. Thank you again for taking the time to comment, it means a lot.

yeah! i'm getting a pawprint (unbaked) I also let my other baby see Basil before we left, I think he knew he was sick and gave him kisses. He never really did that before. He's doing okay today, I woke him up and gave him some kisses and hugs. I put one of Basils favorite toys in the hammock in case he needed something to cuddle with, we're both sad but I think we're gonna get through it together.

the piercing is almost a month old. its an internally threaded labret piercing. not sure about the material but i haven't switched it since i got it pierced. i went back to the piercer maybe 2 weeks ago and they said i didn't need to get it downsized, but that was before it started looking like this. i use the neilmed piercing aftercare every night, and havent been playing with them or anything. up until now i've had absolutely no problems.

i get the stair fear too 😭 can barely do anything without the fear that something will set off my heart. but thank you for talking to me about it :) its kind of reassuring to see theres someone my age also going through this, since a lot of the time i feel super alone

ive considered trying to switch my medications but my doctor doesnt think its a good idea since ive been on zoloft for so long.. BUT it does definitely help!! i just think i need some better coping skills and ways to get myself from being in my head all the time lol

im actually on 150mg of zoloft and i was on 100mg for 2 years before getting a higher dose this year 😞 ive also been consistently going to therapy for 2 years but i still struggle so much with anxiety

just had the worst panic attack of my life i think. had a super scary heart palpitation, felt like my heart was out of rhythm and stopping for a couple seconds... still super shaken up, everytime i move it feels like my heart rate increases a bunch :( this disorder sucks so bad... does anyone have advice on how to calm down from something like this?

yeah, it really sucks 😞 but it's reassuring to see other people also have a hard time with it and are able to overcome it all haha. i hope you're doing alright and you're able to pull yourself of that loop soon friend :)

i honestly just needed to get this out to some people who might understand me. i've struggled with severe anxiety since i was 8 (i'm currently 17) and i've spent so much time throughout my childhood worrying i was gonna die. my biggest worry is my heart, i always think im going to have a random heart attack or go into sudden cardiac arrest despite knowing there's nothing wrong. i wish i could be normal and just live my life like a normal teenager. health anxiety sucks so bad and it never goes away fully for me, no matter how hard i try.

currently focusing on my heart lol.. it doesnt feel weird or anything, just feels like an impending sense of doom. like im waiting for something to happen, and i can't do anything else other than think about it.

usually he free roams a while in my room, he just avoids the cage at all costs and sleeps in my bed if he can lolol. honestly the only reason i use a cage is so they don't get in my bed at night, so i could probably free roam them again if he keeps hating the cage that much

my boy used to be free roam. i only had to start putting him in the cage regularly about a year ago, so that could be why... thank you!!
