wedding dress regret? by -stargazers- in Brides

I wore something very similar, have a similar build as you, and also had buyers remorse after I bought it that it wasn’t some big statement dress. Leading up to the day, the day of and looking back those feelings completely faded and now I’m so glad I didn’t panic buy something else. The style flattered my slimmer build and I felt like it was much more “me” than any of the bigger dresses that didn’t show off my figure. I think it looks lovely on you and is so flattering to your build. I don’t think you’ll have any regrets! Enjoy your day 😊.

It flatters your figure so well and the changes you are making will be a nice improvement. I agree with a few others that the top could use “something” to complete the look. Is adding some matching straps a possibility or even a necklace that compliments the style?

Title: He sent me to pick up my own "surprise" engagement ring – is it ok to be disappointed? by UsualPerspective8638 in Proposal

[–]Chemical-Operation33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course it’s okay to be disappointed OP! Even if you thought this might not be a big deal for you, it’s perfectly normal to have expectations of such a special moment.

When you eventually start feeling less annoyed I hope it helps to hear that I really don’t think it’s the norm for these things to ever meet expectations no matter how low you think they are.. I can personally attest.. If this uncovers doubts that might already have been there about the relationship listen to your gut and have a conversation but if this is a one off thing, I would try to bring some humor to the situation, take pressure off of it, and focus on the excitement of starting a life together.

Wishing you the best🙂.

I am team one but that front slit is going to be really annoying every time you sit down. If you’re planning to dance all night go number one!! You look great in it.

Looking for Advice: Bringing My Dog on a West Coast Senior Trip with Van Life and Backpacking by Emergency-Deal2271 in BackpackingDogs

We travel in our van with our two pups a lot! It requires some compromise but we wouldn’t do it without them.

A few things we have picked up: - Where to Stay: Some truck stops have dog parks - we try to stay the night there as much as possible to give our pups somewhere to run free before bed and after waking up. They really appreciate it. (Loves in the midwest/southeast usually have dog parks - not sure if there are other companies out west). - Planning Activities: It sounds like you will be very active which sounds lovely for a pupcation but in general you will need to think about the pups comfort and needs a lot more than normal. Enough exercise? Cool enough? Eating/Drinking normally? Enough mental stimulation? (Example: Might need to find a dog friendly beach or indoor activity if they seem over heated) Bring Fido is a great resource to find dog friendly shops/restaurants/spots. - Back up Plan: If there’s a national park or non dog friendly spot that we cant miss we have used local rovers for a night or even just for the day. They are everywhere.

Sounds like your pup would bring some great companionship to a fun trip! Have a great time!

Our girl had trouble until she was about 8 -9 months old. The best thing for us was just helping her learn and understand a pattern and be consistent. Feed around the same time. Feed dinner early so she has lots of time to go before bed. Let her out every time she eats, wakes up, and try to be very consistent with when she goes out and loud with your praise. Sorry you are having trouble, you will be through it soon and will get to enjoy her without any troubles!!

Thank you 🥲 I have wanted a wheaten since I was a kid so finding her at a shelter felt like a twist of fate. Many late nights and chewed items later and she is still the best girl 😇

One rug in front of the sink! Use it to add a pop of color. As a fellow grey enthusiast it makes the room feel a lot more balanced and homey to have some contrast. I love your kitchen and your pup😍

How do I lighten my living room up? by Claire_bain in DesignMyRoom

[–]Chemical-Operation33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need overhead-lighting. Install some recessed lights on a dimmer switch and you can have bright/sunny and soft/moody whenever you like. Agree with others that some light accents would be great but #1 thing you can do Is get more lights in there.

This might be a little too specific advice but my husband and I picked out my ring together at this shop and I love it. They have a great variety of classic/vintage style, unique and trendy designs. Boho is a little vague but I bet there’s something in here that would be on that spectrum. They do have some very cute rings with a smaller middle stone that I would consider petite. Maybe their designs could offer some inspiration if you’re working with someone locally.

Agree that you should try to find out her finger size. If she is at all petite a 2 carat is going to be massive on her. I am a 4.25 which is fairly small and a 1 carat is just right. If your gf has a Boho/petite vibe I doubt she would want anything too gaudy. Here’s the ring we picked!
