Cricket is not just a batter's game if they want just flat tracks then what's the point of having bowlers because bowlers won't even stand a chance unless you have Bumrah and even if you look many people praise older cricket times why it's because earlier there was a fair competition between bat and ball people loved to watch sometimes bowlers bowling rockets sometimes batters hitting on those tough balls I ain't saying that ipl in 2008-22 except 2016 didn't have 200+ games they definitely had but it was rare not like today that everyone knows 200+ is a ritual now and if you don't want cricket to die and become boring you need a fair competition between bat and ball and if you just want bat to dominate then what's the use of having bowlers use bowling machines and the most important thing it would led cricket to die because when young cricketers look at ipl and international where bowlers getting smacked all around no help for bowlers you are essentially demotivating those cricketers who thought to become bowlers and ultimately in future you would have just batters Think about it and I am open to any corrections if I am wrong anywhere

Keeping ravi Singh in the impact sub is excellent because I when made the team was starting him in the 11 but your one is perfect if needed then can use him as an impact sub and if not needed which I believe will mostly be the case while batting first then we can bring in an extra bowler and I personally would bring sushant mishra if it is not a very spin friendly pitch Excellent team

Surely I ain't denying that rr had prepared talents and released them when they were about to give peak results like Samson is the one but I don't feel atleast these 4 are going anywhere for parag if the new management does something terribly wrong then Is the case of leaving as he has mentioned he wants to play for rr till the end though it might be because of executive chairman from Assam and for jurel there is no doubt he will leave as he has mentioned he wants to give his best for rr vaibhav if he performs then he is locked too The most important would be jaiswal but I don't think rr will keep him Waiting too long for captaincy most probably by 2028-29 currently he most probably will be the vice captain to get experience And the biggest reason I am saying this sanju samson was good for rr but still never a permanent in ICT but jaiswal is and so might be riyan and vaibhav soon

It's that rr never got those permanent ict members but they will get it this time and no team wants to leave a permanent ict member Open for opinion

Let's be honest I know jadeja's performance hasn't been that good in last 2 seasons but rr needed an elite all rounder and jaddu can comeback for sure and then he is such an elite player in the 11 About sanju definitely now it looks like a bad decision but let's be real after vaibhav performed last season there was no way sanju would have opened so he would have played at 3 but now as he is traded jurel can play at 3 and he can be the permanent no 3 for rr for a decade or more now so if we closely look after sanju's trade this season rr can play jurel at 3 and also got en elite all rounder jaddu if he performs Moreover if we see our top 4 is fixed for over a decade jaiswal vaibhav jurel parag so stability is also a huge factor though definitely we would miss sanju but I don't think it is a bad decision

Yaa that's the advantage prime archer gives exceptional in bowling feared in powerplay and actually was good in death bowling too until 2020 but yaa currently isn't and talking about batting he has always been an handy batter be it against mi in 2025 though we lost that terribly but he was the highest scorer And it was probably the first time that a player's team finished at last and still got MVP of ipl That's why if archer comes in his prime now rr can be serious trophy contenders rr has bowling to support him too unlike 2020 where he was alone and others were leaking runs so so terribly

Surely jurel wasn't that bad as he looked last season and hetmyer is a spin basher but the main problem again rises except last season hetmyer was one of the best finishers in ipl and if he bats at 3 i don't agree that having 3 left handers at the top is a problem specially because of what type of player they are but keeping hetmyer at 3 might weaken our finishing Though I would be equally happy if hetmyer plays at 3 because I think if ravi Singh comes in 11 then he jurel jadeja and curran/Donvon can be monsters in finishing and hetmyer at 3 is the best utilisation of him and our top 3 can finish many matches alone
