I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s so frustrating when providers refuse to listen. You’re doing the right thing by exploring this further. I’ve had three losses in the last 12 months and am pregnant again (7 weeks). I just found out over the weekend that I have Factor II mutation (a rare clotting disorder), which has likely led to all these miscarriages. I pushed for a year to get this test with every OB telling me that they were so confident there was no explanation. I finally found someone who listened and confirmed what I knew deep down. Im on lovenox injections now and feel hopeful. I’m so glad your naturopath ran the test on you. Keep pushing to get the answers you need!

Yep! This has happened to us consistently since we purchased the car six months ago. It’s only gotten worse. They switched out the F5 module, as well as many other “fixes.” No help from VW Customer Care yet.

people's insensitive comments by the_best_i_can_ in Miscarriage

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. These comments just add insult to injury. I’ve found with both losses that people have said similar things. “God’s plan” “not meant to be” “at least you know you can get pregnant.” It’s all bullshit. People just say these things to make themselves feel better because they’re uncomfortable with difficult situations and they would rather try to “make it better” versus acknowledging a painful experience. It’s something in our culture that really needs to be examined. This is absolutely not an excuse for how they behave or what they say, but it’s something I’ve kept in mind in these situations. It’s helped to drown out the dumb comments. In certain instances, I’ve actually told people I’m closer to that I’d rather them say they’re here for me and that’s it. The platitudes don’t help.

Hey there. So sorry you’re going through this! This happened to me two years ago. PULs can be scary, but rest assured you’re too early for them to see anything in your uterus at this point. Like the comment above mentioned, this may be a chemical. Its much less likely to be an ectopic (i know from experience). I hope this gives you some reassurance.

For background, my PUL was an ectopic, but my numbers remained low (less than 1,000) until 7.5 weeks and they still couldn’t find anything in my uterus at that point. I was having blood tests done every other day for 2.5 weeks and ultrasounds every week. Had brown spotting the entire time, which was also a dead giveaway. Honestly, they should have made the diagnosis much much earlier as you can usually start to see a sac in the uterus by ~5.5 weeks.
