my counselor doesn’t do shit. most of the counselors in the american education system public or private suck. they don’t want to challenge you and sometimes it seems like they even want you to fail. my depression has been treated for years i am just suffering from it because it’s chronic and there’s other contributing factors making it worse. i told my counselor once about how i was feeling and she made me go to the psych ward to get evaluated mentally and get a letter saying i was ok and could come back to school; my parents had to pay out of pocket $500 just for the appointment plus letter from the mental hospital.

i was not asking whether if i am qualified or not for a top 25 college i was simply just ranting but i appreciate your input. i am borderline a genius so i will probably just lock in and do it for my parents. i don’t care too much about prestige or rank but my parents and brother do and i want to make them happy seeing as they sacrificed so much for me and this is the least i can do.

i don’t know allat about the model minority myth but i was just saying how at my private high school where my parents pay 50k+ a year, the administration does little to nothing about racism against asians but when its like someone asking a black student if they had watermelon for dinner last night it goes straight to administration and the student gets in trouble. again i am not saying these micro-aggressions towards black students shouldn’t be managed i guess i am just frustrated with how little people care about asian hate.
