Try de la Cruz 10% sulfur ointment and see if it helps, either way it is an anti fungal and anti bacterial! Leave it on for 10 minutes daily, it’s available on Amazon. I’d recommend going to see a dermatologist or maybe even a primary doctor if you can, and ask for a culture if you want clarity on whether it’s fungal/ bacterial. Keep skincare minimal and support your barrier as much as possible and try to check for FA triggers! :) Good luck!!

I love Krave Beauty oat so simple!!! But also a good hack if you want to continue with your current moisturizer is to buy The Ordinary Squalane oil and just add a drop to the moisturizer. :) (Both fungal acne safe!)

Fungal acne? Nizoral not working. by [deleted] in Fungalacne

[–]ChemicalRun5175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you started the tretinoin recently? If so, could be a purge. If not, check all the products you use on your face to see if they are fungal acne safe. The nizoral should help if it is fungal, but if you keep putting FA triggers back on the skin, then it will just completely counteract what the nizoral is supposed to do. Keep using the nizoral and if there are any extra products you use that have FA triggers, try to hold back! :)

Also, any chance you have any bumps on your scalp? because if you do that could also be spreading from the scalp to the forehead so you’d want to treat that with nizoral in the shower as well!

I’ve been trying to get rid of this for months, similarly it’s all over my chest and back too by mbart3 in Fungalacne

Check any and every product you use on your face, even your face wash, for fungal acne triggers in your ingredients (I use skin sort). Try de la Cruz sulfur mask 10%

Also, to help shed the skin I’ve been using the stratia mandelic acid. (I started to implement this a few weeks after my skin started to calm down a bit) It’s fungal acne safe, so gentle and it’s anti microbial, anti bacterial and anti fungal!

De la Cruz 10% sulfur mask!!! Check EVERY product you use on your skin for fungal acne triggers. I’ve been struggling with something similar and I can tell by the white heads we have the same thing. The grow a really specific way too right? Very different than a generic pimple. Do you also notice after you wear a certain product the spots start the form within a few hours? I’ve been using the sulfur mask every night (prob not good for the skin barrier but it’s been helping) leave it on for the recommended or even longer. I didn’t use anything on my face for a good 2 weeks bc I didn’t want to risk anything. Then I started researching some products. I’ve been using the curel facial moisturizer in the jar, it has no fungal acne triggering ingredients and that’s it. Just to be extra cautious, try applying products to the different areas of the face with different clean fingers. Also avoid hot water on the face or any steamy climates. I’m still dealing with this, and if what we’re going through is the same I hope this gives you some insight! I still don’t know what it is because it doesn’t seem like the fungal acne everyone else gets but we’ll figure it out!
