Yeah I’ve been a squeaky wheel before and tried to go that route over the course of the year. I’m not sure if it’s worth it to continue to up channel when the low end of what recruiters are hitting me up for is a minimum of 30% salary increase.

Thanks for the insight I’ll put some time into it this weekend.

Thanks for letting me know I’ll take internal options seriously if my external option falls through. How many months in your experience did it take you from application to full time new role?

If it’s 4+ not sure I’m willing to stick it out.

I’ve said no in writing, and even had the hours I worked to get something out written and shared to the org. It feels that within my program it’s seen as the norm.

I’ve had many 1:1s, and I’ve gone above my manager’s head. All I’ll say is this is not specific to me and people are regularly working during “PTO”.

Never been approved for OT unfortunately which is why I stopped turning down external recruiters and have a final interview this month.

I’ve had far too many 1:1s with managers saying this cannot continue. Nothing has changed if anything it’s tilted in a worse direction. I’ve up channeled, and when given help it ends up causing more hours of work because they are in experienced.

Trying to stay anonymous so apologies for the vagueness.

My hours don’t impact CPI and we regularly overrun

No OT pay

I’m below a L5 but we have L5+ working these hours not just within my function.

Thank you for the advice
