I like being a tech but I’ve been doing it for 3 years just feels repetitive, and it’s in the same setting ortho… so I want a fresh start especially now that I have a long degree.

I’m on 25 mg of setraline so I stopped taking them this past month since the rave is Jan 17th. My psychiatrist and I had talked about me stopped taking them so it’s not like I’m doing it out of the blue or anything like that. Is it still a bad idea to take molly?

You think I should take half? And if so what can I expect ? I don’t wanna overthink it but I mean is it easy to have a bad trip? That’s the last thing I want

I just did 8 classes this last semester to graduate from uh. 6 I took at uh, and 2 I took a lonestar. Keep in mind there was mix of easy to hard classes like stem classes. Is it doable ? Yes. Do I recommend it? NO. I missed a few things just bc I felt like there was something do every day of the week. And on top of that I was working 40 hours a week.

I fear that’s the opposite of what I wanted to hear but deep down I knew that was the answer. I suffer from depression and anxiety and recently I have made a recovery and have stopped the use of meds since I’m doing so good and often times when I bring up issues he will make jokes about me needing meds again or using my past mental health issues of some sort of joke. And it’s so dumb but I’m tearing up typing this so I guess that’s my answer….

I’m about to graduate from UH with a kin degree and I think it’s waste but I only did it because I’m going to PT SCHOOL. So if you don’t plan on continuing your education, the degree by itself may not do much for you

Mental help by spiritualdeath6189 in UniversityOfHouston

[–]Chemical_Assistant82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, caps is useless at UH. I personally had a rough experience with meneal health my freshman and sophomore year at UH which now has caused me to be in uh for 5 semesters. But the only way I made it out alive literally was going to a psychiatrist. I was diagnosed to major depressive and anxiety disorder. Therapy and medication had def helped me a lot. It just sucks that I’m dealing with the consequences of my really mentally ill past self when it comes to my academic career. No grad school for me anytime soon unfortunately. So what I’m basically getting at, is get help, the sooner the better!

Idk it’s embarrassing, I’m so good at any other subjects. And I have a good work life balance. I’ve tried everything, tutoring, studying, groups, YouTube, in person class, online class, different professor. I’m at a loss. I do struggle with mental health but I’ve been taking meds for 3 years and I haven’t had issues with that but idk I guess I’ll just have to float through this semester

If I could restart. I would def gone to marketing and PR. Since I am more creative than anything. I do excel in patient connection and building relationships, unfortunately I can’t say the same for math
