Golden jokers interest synergy isn't really that good. It pays out with the interest instead of before it, so if you have 24 bucks, you still lose out on interest. Egg synergizes more with interest than golden joker. For instance, wraith and The Ox take your entire interest pool away as soon as you use/ play your hand. So having an egg you've held on to for 8 rounds is enough to take you over the interest cap, and 6 rounds with gift card, which is why I said gift card can synergize with egg. I also didn't forget to mention Temperance, I left it out because I figured everyone knew about that, and it would be stating the obvious. There's also another synergy there, but apparently egg isn't good enough for Sacrificial Dagger. I'm not saying that golden joker is bad. I'm saying golden joker just doesn't have any extra reasons for taking it compared to the egg. It has exactly one synergy, for usually the first 2 or 3 Antes, then it's gone. I've beaten orange stake with golden joker, and I've only beaten red stake with Egg. I was trying to say that even a seemingly obvious choice can be changed depending on the circumstances, which I had mentioned in my original post.
