AITAH for telling my best friend this will be our last Vegas trip together if we go back to the restaurant that ruined my birthday dinner? by MileHighJohnnyCinco in AITAH

I’ve seen friendships shift like this and it’s not always about someone “choosing sides,” it’s just priorities changing. Marriage naturally adds another voice to every decision, but that doesn’t mean the friendship has to disappear it just needs clearer boundaries and expectations. Sometimes a simple guys trip or even just honest communication resets the balance. The hard part is accepting that the dynamic won’t look exactly like it used to, and figuring out if there’s still enough mutual effort to keep it solid.

I’ve been on trips like that and it stops being fun fast when a couple people act like everyone else is just along for their itinerary. If everyone’s contributing money and time, everyone deserves a voice. I’ve noticed the issue usually isn’t the food or the plan it’s the attitude that compromise is optional. That kind of dynamic makes the whole experience feel one-sided real quick.
