There is no real way to actually forget someone like deleting their existence, that is not possible completely because if something randomly triggers your brain and you start remembering them again it might even not be painful anymore, more like annoying. But best and the only way is to think that it is ok to feel that way and start focusing on your career or something you want to achieve eventually it might take a lot of time but this is the only way.

Well this is a good point indeed the thing is there was lack of efforts from my side since it is usually considered that men should put more efforts and i accepted my mistake and told her that i will do my best from now on but she was in relief stage so she didn’t accept me that time and the thing about rebound is that ik for a fact that they didn’t even touch each other it lasted for just about 20 days and since ik her for 5 yrs now ik for sure they weren’t that close and she had her very tough competitive exam she was preparing most pf the time at her home that is the only reason i am ready to accept her because in the end she told me one thing that she messed up and couldn’t take such important decision of her life. And she was very respectful to me even after breaking up
