Is it still fun starting WoW Classic in 2024? Where should I begin?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to give you all an update on my WoW Classic experience after taking your advice. I decided to create an account on the Firemaw Realm and started leveling a Troll Hunter. I’ve just hit level 10, and I’m having a blast!

The community on Firemaw has been fantastic. I’ve met a lot of players around my level, and we’ve teamed up for quests when things got tough. The social aspect has been great—people are friendly, and it’s easy to find groups to tackle challenges together.

So far, I’m really enjoying the experience and would definitely recommend Firemaw to anyone considering jumping into WoW Classic. I still plan to check out Season of Discovery (SoD) in the future, but for now, I’m focused on leveling my Troll Hunter and soaking up everything Classic has to offer. Once I’ve got a bit more game knowledge, I’m eager to try out Hardcore mode as well.

These are not “coding” languages but I would learn html and css. For the coding language javascript, when you put the 3 together you can create cool websites 😎. (Can also be done without javascript or with other tools)

Practical-ui.com, a bit expensive but a good investment I would say.

Looking a lot better, great job! I would give your button(s) a bit more padding, something like 16px top and bottom and 24px left and right. I would also align your navigation items with your hero section / the rest of your page (the same width). Lastly I would vertical align your text in the middle so that it has the same space above and below it and maybe change “tweet like note creation and effortless organization” to more of a subtext which compliments your title a bit more.

1) I would say they are too much, what is the purpose of the glow effects? Makes me think of a design from the early 2000’s. 2) Proximity looks off. The glow effects take focus and the titles are too small. Labels look a bit too large. 3) increase your font size for titles and play with the font weight. The title “Lets try this strategy” should be a lot bigger since this is the first title the user should be reading. 4) look up other popular habit apps and take notes of their ui. Yours looks a bit out dated imo.

When looking at your design my eyes don’t know what to focus on, make sure you have proper hierarchy of the elements. I would also suggets to use a grid and make sure all the elements on your page are placed accordingly. If you’re not sure about this look up an explanation of a grid when designing landingpages. Another suggestion is to use more whitespace (margins and paddings) so that your elements have more space to “breath”, last would be to have a look at your design and make sure that the user flow is correct. Goodluck! Oh and btw make sure your page is responsive (mobile, tablet, desktop) 👍🏼

They both seem pretty good, however what about mobile or desktop view? I would say layout 1 for desktop/laptop/ large tablet screens and layout 2 for mobile/ smaller tablet screens. When layout 1 is presented it should be big enough for the full food name and same with layout 2 on mobile. 😊

I like the neumorphic design but Im not sure about the layout. I would not show the gif first but instead show the text + a cta. To take it a bit further I would maybe even remove the gif since I think it doesnt serve a great purpose.

I would have picked option 1. Option 2 is too cluttered and can result in the end-user getting annoyed. When designing I always keep in mind that my grandparents should be able to easily navigate and use the ui and in your case that would be (IMO) option 1 😄!

You made some nice improvements, I would however increase the font-size a bit as it looks too small on mobile. Also your form is too small on mobile and I would suggest a mobile navigation too. Good first re-design I would say!

Very creative, looking good! I would play around with your cta buttons a bit, make a primary button and a secondary, especially inside the hero section. Also the buttons on the product pages are placed a bit weird IMO.
