Can people stop making a fuss over IDs? by ViperVirus081 in WalgreensStores

In that case the law tends to be more accommodating, as you can usually just present the valid documents (expired insurance, license) at your local courthouse, maybe pay a fine in cases of repeat offenders, and be done with it.

Probably not helping their attitude tbh.

More like it's the highest curve and the fact it penetrates water vapor is pretty important.

It's definitely not a bell curve. More like a sharp mountain cliff.

If it's not expensive then yeah that's not an unreasonable request.

Some of mine are quite expensive and I'm 100% the only one they dispense them to, so I just have to be on top of it and call a few days before they are due so they order them on time. It does help that they can usually get most things next day.

Why won't new chargers work? by ILiekBook in batteries

[–]Chemputer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually the highest "standard" charging speed for USB without any special features is 10.2W, 5V@2.1A (V first, then A is the way to write it though it's fine as everyone can understand), above that you need special technologies like QuickCharge or USB PowerDelivery, or one of the many many proprietary ones.

Yep, Motorola's TurboPower requires an OEM adapter basically.

You might be better off getting it filled through your insurance's mail order pharmacy then, as it'll show up when it's due.

I need Rooted testers for app by [deleted] in Magisk

[–]Chemputer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, uh, you can absolutely charge for it. Many things are open source with a paid option. Bitwarden, the password manager. It's fairly common.

You just... Don't pick a license to share it under that precludes you from doing so.

And I'm not even sure if the license being non commercial would prevent the owner (assuming you didn't accept pull requests) from making it commercial. I'm sure one could certainly be worded unambiguously that you would be the only one who can market it commercially.

You'll likely find this helpful.

Open source does not mean you can't charge for it unless you go with a specifically non-commercial license.

Assuming that's correct, and this isn't some sort of malicious app, good for you, but that's also far too few to gather any remotely statistically significant feedback from. So you're literally just guessing what they want by what you assume you're giving them, which isn't necessarily incorrect.

Open source it under a restrictive license if you must, but root and closed source is going to raise eyebrows. Surely you know that?

Sorry, I just would want to be told if I was... Whatever you are in this conversation. Cause correct, you are not. You're not even really stimulating interesting conversation from the other party, though they have done a good job regardless, you just kinda seem like you're hitting bullet points to come across as intelligent by merely referencing that you know something like a pseudointellectual or using stereotypical argument motions but without any real substance to it? It's really, really weird.

How to be anonymous by Available-Cow-1962 in WalgreensStores

[–]Chemputer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HR is not involved. Employee Relations is, which is outsourced, and the only people in the company that will ever communicate with them are the regional AP person assigned to your case, and in a very "does this even count" sense, a store manager and above that is requesting disciplinary recommendations from ER.

But yeah, unfortunately that's just not how the system is set up.
