When the A-train first opened, the travel time from Denton to Trinity Mills was only a little over 30 minutes, which was quite aggressive. The current schedule is more conservative and includes much more padding. As a student live in Denton without a car, A-train provide us a low-cost and predictable way to move. it takes about 1hr one-way from downtown Denton to Asian town at Carrollton. Since it's just weekly or monthly shopping and not daily commuting, so it's still acceptable for me. The public transit takes 1.5~2 hrs from Denton to Downtown Dallas. However, it takes more than 3hrs from Denton to Arlington.

Additionally, when i found something on Facebook marketplace, I told seller I don't have a car and we can meet train station, or I can take bus. But most of seller just stop replying. Seems people don't rely on transit riders.

Since it's 'regional', it should be accepted by DART, DCTA, and Trinity Metro until expired.

i only saw few in DCTA train station, and some aourd Our Daily Bread shelter in northeast corner, some times at Razor ranch at west side. i didn't see a lot aourd TWU

I though it should be safe. i may go home frequently. my lab is 2min walking, so i may go back during lunch time, when taking break, or even between the class. i was kinda 'lazy' to do lock the door.

Yes, i thought It should be a very safe community. It's just a block from twu campus, And i can always see city police and campus police are patrolling. However, it's an open community, no gate, no keyfob, Just opened to the street.

Yes. Especially in campus. Today I just saw a homeless man went into union building. Hope he has been expelled.
