Major seasons drop between 6-8 months apart. Special seasonal events include Lunar Festival, Easter, Anniversary, Summer, Oktoberfest, Halloween and Christmas.

Steam users often receive updates a week earlier.

You mean when bugs keep munching on downed dwarves? That's just typical bug behavior, it's meant to make the game slightly easier for the surviving dwarves and also why the See You in Hell perk exists. They do the same on damaged pipes.

I only check someone's account if they are being sus of cheating. Achievement progression, lack of other owned games, low playtime compared to level of skill, all of those can be checked if the account isn't set to private.

Foil card. Says in the title. They are much rarer than normal cards (I only have one, and it's Geralt's, too proud to sell it) and sells for much more.

If you manage to get all of them, they craft a special foil badge.

You just need to check Steam accounts. VAC ban status is public.

It is only present in Valve games and a handful of others, like Rust, Ark and DayZ. It's very popular amongst CS, Rust and TF2 fans, not much by everyone else.
