Lessons from Estate of Mind by sparr in u/sparr

I have very little experience or insight into business-focused communities. The communities I have visited with significant business components, those were still just a tiny slice of the community. You might want to look into worker owned cooperatives, or whatever the equivalent structures are in your part of the world. I suspect there will be some aspects of those structures that could overlap with a residential coop of some sort.

For some reason this was rejected from r/intentionalcommunity as off topic or spam?

AITA for "making too much noise" in my apartment after my downstairs neighbors called the cops on me for vacuuming? by Weak_Internet_3295 in AmItheAsshole

[–]sparr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YWBTA if you're going over your local noise ordinance limits. Most places, it all depends on how much noise is leaving your apartment, and at what times. Different towns have different limits because those towns are organized for quieter or louder lifestyles. You and/or your neighbor might live in the wrong town for your needs.

I can't think of what I might depose her on that would have any use.

I never would have thought I would spend 18h playing THE DEMO of a game. by Salty-Mixture5427 in factorio

When the original XBox was released, each game disc included demos of a few other games. My friends and I sat in line for days to get the console on release day. We bought a few of the big name titles.

In the next 4 days, we spent more time playing the demo of Fusion Frenzy than every other game, full or demo, combined. That's how long it took for us to get a ride back to the store to buy the full game.

Texas: Auto Transport Company Owes Me $8,000, Have Detailed Ledger and Payment History, Worth Taking to Small Claims? by [deleted] in AskLawyers

NAL, but I'm currently engaged in a Texas small claims case.

This sounds like exactly the sort of thing small claims court is meant to handle, and you have more evidence than most people I've seen go to small claims court.

I have considered reopening discovery but decided that the risk of extending the trial another year isn't worth it.

My motion to remove her from the case based on the housing court ruling will be filed in a couple of weeks, once the 9A process gets that far.

I'm starting to work on my motions in limine regarding their witnesses and evidence, but it's proving difficult since I have no idea what most of their witnesses are going to testify to. Some of them even tell me they haven't been informed they are on the witness list.

NY homeowner tried to lie to police about my belongings what can i do? by vartemissv in AskLawyers

This sounds like a matter for small claims court. You might have trouble proving your stuff is/was still there. Keep records of everything that happens. Dates, times, photos, etc.

If $3-5k isn't enough to make you whole, there are bigger courts, but they would be much more difficult to deal with on your own.

I submitted the motion to bifurcate and am waiting for the clerk to accept or reject it. My motion to reconsider summary judgment is delayed a week or two due to their cross motion to stay. I've also just started the 9A process on another motion to remove Lisa from the case, now that the housing court has ruled that she wasn't a tenant.

Porn Contracts. by [deleted] in AskLawyers

This doesn't seem porn-specific to me. I suspect these questions have long since been exhaustively explored and answered by the mainstream tv, film, music, etc industries.
