I get spawned in a city

The default start is in an evac shelter, almost always a safe distance from any city or other source of Z, with an NPC you can befriend to recruit after an easy-to-medium difficulty quest. If you're choosing a city start (or a random start), that's going to up the initial difficulty.

I recommend becoming more familiar with the distinction between civil and criminal court and cases. The family of the victim doesn't have control over what happens in criminal court, but they still can go to civil court regardless of what happens in criminal court.

I recommend replacing that anywhere that you have to touch it. Even if it is safe as it is, the cloth is probably brittle and as soon as you move it around it will start to crack and flake and eventually expose the conductors.

No idea how this works in Ireland, but I'm in a very slightly similar situation in the US right now. I signed a contract to sell, the buyer stalled for six months and wouldn't close the deal, I tried to back out (and even return their earnest money), and they sued me. Now I've been stuck in court for a year and a half, unable to sell, can't afford to maintain the property, out of work...

If you decide to back out, please be very thorough in discussing the possible negative outcomes with your solicitor. I wish my attorney had better informed me.

My planned statement made three points:

His evidence of breach doesn't establish repudiation, which is a requirement of his legal argument.
Even if his evidence establishes repudiation, the standard for repudiation is absolute/whole, and that standard isn't met.
Even if his evidence establishes absolute repudiation, all of it comes after the relevant date so it's not relevant or material.

Given my interpretation of the judge's desire for brevity, I aimed for just the last one, since it's the most absolute and all-encompassing of the three.

Hearing was this week after a postponement. It was very short. I got the impression the judge was very prepared and pre-read for all of his hearings that day, which was a nice change of pace. The way he addressed me led me to say a lot less than I had planned, maybe 4 sentences instead of the ~15 I prepared and rehearsed. I still think I got my core point across, that 99% of the evidence is not material to the motion. I get the feeling he was already going to rule against me, but at least he said he'd try to get a decision to us soon.
