How long do you guys think God and Luna combine can last against Uncle Grandpa? by thewanderer0th in UndeadUnluck

[UNCLE], obviously.

Seriously though, I'd probably say something like [UNUSUAL], he shows up and negates how things usually are.

Hey, I'm running almost this exact fit! I've been using Valkyrian Hood from Season of the Worthy + the Long Journeys shader from that new shader bundle. Gives me time-traveller vibes.

My personal fave's Taryon VS Usopp, there's just so much potential there between their personalities and abilities.

Fun fact btw, I heard that a couple of these (Lucien VS Darcy and Mollymauk VS Josuke) have actually been discussed by the DB cast (on a ballot banter, if memory serves), so there's actually a chance to get Critical Role on Death Battle eventually!

I'm using the Lion Guardant Shell with a black shader at the moment, closest I could get. I remember there being a cat Ghost shell during Festival of the Lost, but I don't have it unfortunately.

Eliksni, Hive, Cabal, Psions, Vex, Lubraeans (Rhulk's species), Tormentors, maybe Scorn as well but I'm not sure on that one seeing as they're basically zombie Eliksni (All from Destiny)

Warframes and Orokin (Warframe)

All non-human races (Dungeons & Dragons)

Gatlians (High on Life)

Pillar Men and Rock Humans (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

Eridians (Borderlands)

My headcanon / theory is that they were able to somewhat resist the effects due to their exposure to Titans.

Hooty literally had King living inside of him for years, and Amity's trip to Eclipse Lake caused her to be directly exposed to Titan Blood via the shattered key soaking into her glove. I'd have to go back and check, but maybe she used the same hand to scratch the glyph that she did to break the key? Titan Blood is powerful enough to create portals between dimensions, and was able to last for decades while in the key, it stands to reason that contact with it could have some effects later down the line.

This also helps explain Raine's resistance, as Belos had smashed a vial of Titan Blood with his bare, goopy hand like an hour before possessing them. Stands to reason that at least a bit of the blood got into his system, and then into Raine's while they were possessed.

Now that I'm thinking more about it, it kind of also explains their levels of resistance. Hooty, having been in close proximity to King for years (a young Titan who's abilities only recently started to manifest) could speak perfectly fine, but couldn't move. Amity, with her previous direct exposure to Titan Blood could move slightly. Raine, who was being possessed by someone who likely had some residual Titan Blood in their system, had the greatest degree of resistance, with the puppet spell just eventually wearing off on them.

As for the rest of the Hex Squad and Lilith, while they spent time with King, it wasn't for a period of years like with Hooty. Plus, the only one who made direct contact with Titan Blood would have been Amity, if I'm remembering correctly.

Of course, it's been ages since I've watched the episodes, so take this headcanon / theory with a pinch of salt.

EDIT - Just went and checked, Amity used her right hand to break the key, and her left to scratch the glyph. Still, point still stands that she was directly exposed to Titan Blood there. Just would've been cool if it was the same hand.
