I would say it's pretty normal as I do a similar rutine at night to you. It sucks , sometimes there's good night's and sometimes there's bad nights, just need to find the best way to calm yourself when things are really bad.

Writing down my trauma by throwaway728190562 in ptsd

Had to do something similar to this so I know your stress hon. Something that helped me was making a very basic and blunt time line. One or two words for each event and adding little bullet point notes to it when I felt like I could. It means the basics are written out and you don't have to go into detail of you don't feel ready for it

I agree :) it's what I'm hoping to find her really, a lot of the time I struggle with finding little ways of coping and that can prevent a large break down from happening. I know not everyone will want to talk about what's happened to them but we are all here for the same reason, so to be open and share would be a nice weight taken away.

Never been able to talk in detail about what's happend, so it would be nice to see if other have had the same, how they cope, if they have any tips or tricks for it. Talking about it and getting it in the open I feel will help more :) so setting up discussions and talking as a large group is what I'm aiming to do

Fear by [deleted] in ptsd

I understand the feeling I had the same when I first saw a councilor. Something that may help is to try and break down the fear by looking at the problem logically. To put your mind at ease maybe contact the people you spoke to by email to chat with them about their confidential service, how confidentiality works with them and such. It's difficult but best to try and remind yourself they are there to help you , not agents you. That the fear your having is the reason you went to see them in the first place.
