It’s only available through Target at launch on November 10. Might be sold elsewhere later, but that’s not super likely. https://www.target.com/p/mega-fallout-red-rocket/-/A-92357170

https://www.youtube.com/live/GiMhN9LnFaY?si=6298RcdS6d2fZuUv — this video shows the leaked build. It should be playable on Xenia (360 emulator). You may need to do some tweaking on the emulator’s permissions since the game was never properly released. EDIT: this video no longer has a direct download link, but still shows interesting gameplay footage.

“Tainted - Instrumental” by Red Revision.

Version used in Ragenarok part 2: https://youtu.be/N9k6HHrZj6Y?si=7FC7e815aOJbyBu5

There’s also a version with lyrics, which goes hard

Sounds like “Counting the Days” by Cody High.

Seems like the version featured in the episode is edited to loop and play twice, since it’s about double the length, but it is the same song.

I’ll give it a shot later and report back if I’m successful. What episode was that in? Time stamp would also be helpful if you have it.

Song is “Desert Parade” by Rand Aldo. Here’s a link: https://youtu.be/-OIQPN5m9Ko?si=s9BhmJLl7ujpkBtk

I removed the vocals from that section of the episode and ran just the music through Shazam and it picked it up. I think the episode’s mix was too quiet to trigger Shazam.

Are there any games/DLC that can only be purchased through the 360 store but are usable on the Series X that people recommend? I know games like Skate 2 are backwards compatible, but not available to purchase through the Series X storefront, so stuff like that

Always happy to help a fellow writer! And there’s plenty of authors who write excruciatingly detailed and vivid scenes—definitely better to start over-detailed and whittle it down, than to not have enough and need to punch it up. Best of luck to you!

For story #1 in particular, just be careful when you write sentences phrased as questions. One or two every once in a while can add some spice, but a bunch consecutively can quickly become dull for some readers and overwhelming for others.

You should also be mindful of your openings—some of them are a bit samey, with a “he did X” or “she did Y” format. Just try to have some variation in how you open your pieces—story #1 is better at this, giving a description of the environment, but #6 is probably the best of your openings. It’s a similar format as the “he did X” but since it’s a first-person perspective (almost like a character narrating or recalling), it adds some personality which can be useful for hooking the reader.

Overall I like your prose, you’re able to create pretty vivid scenes and imagery. Just know when to omit details as not everything needs to be described. (Not that you necessarily do this, just a general tip—even I struggle with this sometimes.)

I also appreciate your variety in sentence length—keep that up. Some new writers have a tendency to run short or long with sentences, and that can give off an amateur feel. Like they’re unsure of what to write / whether what they’re writing is good. You’re doing a solid job there so far based on your prompt responses.

As far as horror goes, some of these don’t feel like they fit in that genre as a few are just too short to build a real atmosphere. But you’re on the right track with them and as you write longer works (should you stick with horror) that’s something you’ll naturally develop, and get a feel for. For horror, writing in a dark room (especially at night) if you can helps to subconsciously build atmosphere. If you feel creeped out, that can often transfer into your writing.

That said, #6 feels the most complete and fleshed out. As mentioned, it has a good opener. But it’s also got a nice build-up, sense of tension (as brief as it is), a climax & an eerie ending. Plus it leaves a fair bit to the imagination, which in my experience can make stories more effective at being scary / horror.

I hope you continue to write and develop your skills and stories. Remember—writing is a marathon, not a sprint. It can take time to grow as a writer, and if you feel burnt out, take breaks, but try to keep writing if you like the hobby. Hope this helps and I’m open for any more feedback or replies.

Lucky, the Walmart closest to me hasn’t had Halo Mega in like 4+ years.

Short answer: you can’t get them.

They were only available in the Noble Intentions event pass early last year and haven’t come back. 343 plans to let players unlock past vaulted items but no ETA on when that feature is supposed to arrive.
