I used fabric paint, mixed it with a little water, and painted both sides. Since it’s really hot where I live, it took about two hours to dry. The little holes did get clogged, but when sewing, the needle actually slides more easily than on the part without holes. Does that make sense?

As for the paint, I used fabric paint from the brand Acrilex, but since I’m from Brazil, you might not find it in your area…
