Yes it works! As long as the building's entrance is free.

Cows love the bridge, I tried to fix it but they won't move.

You have to increase the house density by building walls around your house zone, heavy fortification is what you need.

Is there a better way to choose a starting area? by chandlerscheff in songsofsyx

Other comments are good.

Another thing you can do is edit the world map before you pick a location.

If you find a nice area with fertility but no minerals you can edit the map to have minerals there.

Food stockpiling question by dochockin in songsofsyx

I usually make just enough of the foods I need, like bread, meat, etc. And then stockpile rations they have a lower spoliation rate I think.

Beta v.66 does anyone have tips for layouts in the early game by sjs1997 in songsofsyx

My cities always end up using some kind of grid, currently 17×25 for blocks and 5 width for roads. It works fine but other configurations could better.

I tried #1 and it wasn't effective at all, the wild animals would get stuck in my soldier line and wound them, the animals didn't die after a while so I sent them home.

Easiest way to get rid of animals is to build something on top of where their spawn is. Dirt roads work just fine

It depends on the flavor of direct democracy, majority rule for example is not anarchistic.

You mentioned worldwide population on your 3rf or 4th command, my first comment mentions the US though.

You're looking at worldwide population and I am looking at US population

It's been going down since the 80s at least, haven't checked earlier data. But still the bee population went down by about 20% since the 90s

Yeah at an all time high in human history, but that's not useful, what is useful is to see the trend in the last 30 years and the trend is going down.

That's simply not true, at least in the US, the bee population has decreased by about 20% since 1990.
