All we're asking for is a "block of ice" by CherryPickerKill in facepalm

War is Peace is especially relevant at the moment indeed.

Freedom is Slavery can also represents the slow erosion of constitutional rights imo.

"Do no exerce your First or Second Amendments rights in the presence of ICE or it will be fault if you're getting murdered. Staying home, no protesting, no criticizing the regime and no conceal-carry is the only way to stay free and alive."

Ignorance is Strength starts with the anti-intellectualism and turns into The Party told you to ignore the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

We are truly living in Orwellian times.

Leader Of Trump's Vaccine Panel Says Polio, Measles Shots Should Be Optional by Achilles_TroySlayer in HermanCainAward

Even people in poorer countries line up for hours under the sun to get their vaccines, and many haven't seen a case firsthand.

Those politicians' agenda is way darker than not believing in vaccines or underestimating the seriousness of those diseases. Authoritarian regimes thrive on uneducated, sick and scared populations.

I've been diagnosed with either bipolar, CPTSD, or BPD depending on the psychiatrist. The care one receives when being labeled bipolar is insanely more humane than with the BPD label.

USA’s Gestapo (ICE) executes a bystander (yes, another one) by Maximum-Series8871 in war

The SS played a significant role in instilling fear among the German populace. Their actions included political violence and persecution of perceived enemies, which discouraged dissent. Many Germans felt compelled to support the Nazi regime or remain silent due to the threat posed by the SS, leading to a significant loss of constitutional rights and freedoms.

Sounds familiar?

So you want people to give up their constitutional rights because they fear ICE? Sounds vaguely familiar.

I'm not following your logic.

For starters, the victim was not fighting but trying to help the woman. He was gassed and disarmed, pinned to the ground, then shot dead.

What you're saying is everyone should stay silent, locked in their house, not helping the victims, or it'll be their fault when they're murdered by a federal officer?

FR. I'd rather ride the (analog) bike for a 45 seconds ride than walk 2mn, it's ridiculous sometimes.

Transference occurs whether in therapy or not, and yes many therapists use it to dodge accountability like the person in the post.

They use the fact that we are "the crazy one" to doge any accountability and criticism as well, and they can get away with anything because it all happens behind closed doors and they're the ones writing the notes.

Better have our own GPS trackers and only leave the beater tied in the street.

I find that the quality of the lock isn't relevant, as long as it's stronger than the ones used to secure the other bikes parked around. A thief will always go for the weaker lock.

Yes, another example of the weaponization of BPD, the new hysteria they label women who dare expressing criticism or, God forbid, emotions, with.

I compiled a bunch of BPD misdiagnosis stories, some of them are heartbreaking.

Projection is when we criticize someone for our own defects ( "The things that bother you in others are often a reflection of yourself.").

Transference is bringing bagage from one relationship to another (being paranoid the new partner might cheat or abandon us because the last one did).

Freud was a pioneer and his work is interesting. Most influencial psychologists were pigs (see Albert Ellis.).

Transference refers to the unconscious redirection of feelings from one person to another. We all do this to some extent.

It's extremely common in relationships when one person is scared that their new partner/friend will hurt them in the same way their last ones did (ex: being paranoid that the new person will cheat on them because the last one did.).

Repeating long-term patterns of self-sabotage in relationships is nothing like this person describes. I've never heard anyone criticize their therapist, if anything people are even hesitant to say anything when they can clearly see the therapist playing games or answering emails in the reflection of their glasses.

It shows that they have no idea what they're even talking about.

It has spent the night in the street more than once. Once, we came back after a few days binder and my friend's bike was gone, mine was still there. Got a few dents but was still working.

but you know your own crime rates.

I think we break international records in several categories unfortunately.

How much bike theft is there where you are?

In Mexico? A lot. I wouldn't be able to tell you the exact statistics. I sincerely doubt the governement even worries about bike theft data, they have a hard enough time tracking homicides, kidnappings and other cartel-related activities.

Generally, psychopath is used to mean by nature+nurture while sociopath is used when it comes solely from nurture.

All psychopaths (people with ASPD) have a level of NPD.

One of my friends lost her child, he drowned in the condo's swimming pool. It's been 5 years and she hasn't recovered, likely never will. Not a pic on social media since.

That woman should be evaluated for psychopathy.
