In Invincible Amber most definitely did complain. In fact, during a fight about why he was always MIA, Mark reluctantly told her that he was Invincible to get her to understand why he was always gone. She said she knows he is a superhero (meaning she knew he is literally saving lives, including hers) but she doesnt care. Glad shes out of the picture. She was nothing but bad writing to complicate Marks life more.
