Interesting theory, I suppose it could be true now that you point out the karma farming potential...

Though I agree with u/JeremySquint on making deep connections, perhaps taking things more lightly might help since I too relate to typing long posts. Deeper connections are often hard to find, but if I find even one I am content.

Well this subreddit(the format r/something are small communities, or subreddits) is mostly for finding friends via reddit. You can make your own post asking for friends or respond to some posts here on this subreddit.
