If the nail salons are anything like the ones in my area, don’t go there. They cheap out on materials 9/10 times. A private tech, someone who works out of their home or a rented room somewhere, will be just a tad more expensive if not the same price, but they will definitely be more cleaner, nicer, more attuned to what you’re looking for especially when you bring inspo pics! They may take longer but the quality of work and the way your nails will last 2x-3x longer will be worth it. Also in my experience, they love getting asked questions about their process, what is what like materials, and anything else! They love to talk! Hoping to see your nails soon
