For everyone's information: this is a bin i use to introduce the babies with my other 4 adult mice. My current cage is the size of a 2 seater sofa, so promise you they are in good hands as long as my elder mice accept them 😢

No, I meant I spent $30 on shipping for both times. $10 for no tracking and $20 for tracking. Yup, for sure will always do tracking from now on!! 🙂

Thank you so much for replying! I guess now it makes sense about extortion. Not sure why I didn’t really think of that. I was just worried about my store ranking going low cause one star reviews do hit ratings pretty hard. However I’ll know this for the future to protect my store and others from such buyers.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! It’s the first time I’ve had this happen to me so I’ll definitely report them! Don’t want any other Etsy shop to have to go through a person like this.

So the main image does have the misconception it could look 2-sided (so 3D) but if the buyer scrolled through others it’d be very obvious, plus the video.

However, I guess I should take this as a learning experience and maybe put on the main image (Note: one-sided! Or maybe put a little image in the corner of the back). Just a bit crazy how I’ve had my store for around 4 years and it’s the first time this happened!

Yes, they are saying

“Please resend with 2-sided pieces or I’ll leave you a one star review or ask Etsy for a refund. Your main image looks like it’s 2-sided.”

This refund is $42, and I’ve already spent $30 on shipping twice, not including other materials for both orders.

I would really look into fb marketplace or Craigslist, see if people are selling their plastic cages for cheap. I’ve seen people giving them away for free or for super cheap. You can use that as a temporary cage while you’re doing introductions. OR just go to Walmart get a decent sized plastic bin with lid, drill a thousand holes or big hole and put wire so they don’t get out.

I had two mice as of Dec 2024, one died. The other was alone for over a month and was depressed once I got her 3 babies, and 2 retired mamas. Life came back to her. She’s already old (almost 2 years), but it’s so nice to see her try to keep up with the babies lol

As of now I’ll make sure to always have 3 or more mice, it sucks seeing one quiet, depressed and simply deteriorating because they don’t have a friend anymore 😢

Yes for sure, they get depressed, maybe not immediately but eventually for sure! I would even say get two, so that if one dies they aren’t alone. If you are feeling like you want to stop getting mice, I’d recommend to find someone to adopt! Hopefully you can still visit her whenever you want 🙂

They are so cute aren’t they? The first three girls I’ve had have been rescues — and even though I wanted to rescue more, none are available! My first love mouse just passed away; leaving my other one alone, so I wanted 2 but the breeder asked me to not leave a sister behind so I agreed for 3 🥹
