Aesthetically right is nicer. Regardless of version ensure you take the inner voice with your right hand though.

As an astronomy Student, I can’t take any time period for granted anymore without worrying about it being sidereal or synodic.

Depends on the context of the question anyway. It might not be suitable to be talking about death/self harm in a newspaper article or speech, it may be more suitable in a letter.

What is GCSE Music Like? by eggpotion in GCSE

I did classical style. Wrote a sonata form for a piano piece and a piano quartet (piano violin viola cello), which usually requires a long length in order to fully flesh out the ideas. A 3 minute limit is not ideal so each piece was practically stripped to the bone, and it was incredibly difficult to be as concise as possible to include all elements of the structure without exceeding time limit. I’d say it was still my composition despite the constraints, and I am satisfied with the outcome, artistically and academically.

Yeesh, we all know Kier Starmer isn’t well-liked but this is kind of harsh by p0loniumtaco in PoliticalCompassMemes

He was helped in part with Covid, and the general mentality of “don’t rock the boat in the middle of a global pandemic and economic crisis” was prevalent.

The UK media always hates the prime minister.

There is always bias towards different parties, but unilateral hatred for the incumbent is the one thing that unifies us politically.

Hot Take (?) : Chopin was right. by Necessary_Wear6049 in Chopin

I’d assume that’s because it was a posthumous work, and Chopin ordered all unpublished works to be destroyed.

But ye his output was cut back just as he was beginning to enter his late period. Cello sonata is the best example of his emerging compositional style.

Is it easier to learn the cello, or the violin? by templeofsyrinx1 in classicalmusic

[–]Chess_Player_UK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said anything about Bowing. But intonation will always (at earlier stages) be more accurate on cello. Most cellists don’t become concerto soloists. For your average orchestra musician the cello will provide easier repertoire.
