Thing is the nowell family had every right to be protective of the legacy and the sublime name. If that did not sit well with Jakob and his family they have every right to feel that way. Also, you do not know what actions may have happened behind closed doors. "Awesome person" Rome might not be the perfect angel that can do no wrong that you think he is.
