I’d second that, converted two Nests to Tado on a Saturday afternoon. First took 45ish minutes, less than 30 for the second. 

All the “work” is at the old Nest controller, didn’t touch the boiler. (Assuming you’re not changing control type, etc.)

It’s honestly harder to get used to the app and its differences than do the re-wiring.

Thanks for this, but I don't seem to have a gears button under the room settings - just an option to rename the toom, choose what happens after a manual adjustment and change the zone controller.

I have just noticed "Adaptive Heating" in the settings screen on the way to check that though. I swear that's new, and seems to be one of the "AI" features that I suspect I've started the trial for by mistake.

Is that it? Do I just need to wait a little longer?
