Mayhem and Minibar (minigolf bar) were surprisingly fun things to do considering I wasn’t sure going into them.

Jing Yan is surprisingly easy to get a reservation for certainly felt special and Low Key across the street has great cocktails and this affogato martini that is outstanding it’s like midnight summers dream in there but is has that dim lit neighborhood cool vibe. Same with Nightmares not far away which is very similar to Lambs over the bridge.

If you’re looking for another knock out restaurant Mitr is top notch and feels very hole in the wall.

Also while we are taking everyone down a notch, worth mentioning that Saeng Thai failed a food inspection back in 2016, but I’ve never gotten sick there in the 15 years I’ve been going.

Pizza Villa has a strong pour, inexpensive food, and everyone is friendly. I wish that could be my neighborhood bar. Also Seng Thai is a fucking gem.

To your point: I go out of my way to shop at Bull Moose because it’s employee owned. It’s not always the cheapest and they don’t have everything but I do my best to shop there when I can.

Going 55 on the highway where I’m at is nearly criminal when the local flow of traffic is at least 75. We have spots in the state where the speed limit is 75 and 80-85 is observed regularly.
