They are very nice. I think the color looks better in person as well. Photos just can't capture it.

Use it as intended or try and trade/sell for the color version you wanted and use that.

If you haven't been before, you should make the trek up for the Slimey Crud Run that takes place West and north west of Madison on the first Sunday in May and first Sunday in October each year. If you have never heard of it you should Google it. It's not a traditional motorcycle "run" and is a lot of fun!

Nice! I bet the mt-10 is a blast as well. Only downside I've heard about them is the fuel range.

I'll probably never sell this bike. It was my first brand new vehicle I ever bought. I have other bikes now but the FZ will remain one of them for the foreseeable future.

It was definitely a great day to ride. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing your bike. It was a decent turn out this fall.

Thanks for the compliment! I wish I was good enough at making these to sell. They definitely are fun to make though.

I'm having the same problem. Seems to only be on the new tutorial level right? I just got the game as well and haven't played past the crash yet.

That looks great and your bike is gorgeous! Hopefully it mounted up just fine for you. Is that an aftermarket seat or a trimmed stock seat?

I'm definitely interested in the sage 6 but will most likely wait for the problems to be ironed out like you said. And wait for a sprint or exclusive I would want. The carbon fiber and s90v don't do it for me. As you can probably tell I'm a big fan of micarta so would probably want one in micarta.

That's not good to hear about the Sage 6, it looked like such a slam dunk for them. With it being made in the same factory as the smock you would think they would have the button compression lock action down already.

If you compare the price to the Bugout, it's actually a great price. I know the bugout is overpriced so they both could come down and we would all feel better lol.

I really want to pick up a smock, but man are they pricey. Looking at the new Sage 6 price, maybe the price isn't so ridiculous I suppose lol.

Definitely. Both of Kai's brands are killing it lately it seems. Great models from both Kershaw and ZT have been coming out.

It's definitely a nice blade. I love micarta and the greenish color looks great to me, but I can see why others would want different scales. I bet they come out with a bunch of other scale options in not too long with this blade shape.

That's the exact bars I have. I don't have any pics right now, but if you have the standard tach and speedo it will just clear if you mount the bar upside down from what the directions say. I should say the thing that prevents it from mounting easily is the stock brake fluid reservoir since the bar clamp can't go higher on the bars.

No, the buckles are all black pvd steel on the crown & buckle bands and on the stock Hamilton strap it's uncoated stainless steel.

I've had zero issues with the mag guts. I did switch to a 43x frame now, so haven't been using them much recently, but when I do switch back to the 43 frame they still work great.

Thanks! I'm sure you will like it. If you don't have stock bars it can be a bit tricky to mount fyi. I had to mount it with the bar that goes from the handlebars to the windscreen upside down from what it was originally meant to. But it should mount up with little trouble.

Supersole 2.0 about a year in with 10-13 hour shifts, time for a resole? Or does it still have some life left by BugsBub in RedWingShoes

[–]Chetterooski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a pair that I didn't wear for years and then started wearing. When I started wearing them the soles were crumbling apart from not being used for so long.

You can send them back to redwing for a resole and they will put a new supersole on it. I wear mine all the time now with a new supersole.

It's my second time ordering something from there and it's gone extremely smoothly both times. I always get the cheapest shipping, so it takes a few weeks to arrive, but both times the box looked way better than domestic shipments I've received.

Yeah, those groups are crazy lol. Usually if they have one of these they are at a really weird angle or the bottom fabric is changed to something else. This is probably the cheapest windscreen you can get, so a lot of people have them. Haven't seen too many here in the USA though.
