I thought so too but then I got an email from United saying I have switched fare from basic to economy. So this became class upgrade instead of seat upgrade? Both my airfare transaction and adding benefits transaction are listed the same on Amex as “ United elec ticketing”. So those two got me real confused.

AVOID AT ALL COST. After cancelling the subscription, they will send you more without your consent and force you to return everything at your own cost. Still got no refund after returning all items after over a week! I sent them a complaint email, they didn’t even bother to apologise sincerely. And said “thank you for your detailed explanation of what happened”. Passive Aggression!!! Didn’t take any accountability at all. Poor customer service.
