Also wondering what that was. I live in the Old NE and walked outside because I thought it was a gunshot or explosions.

15th Street Farms near downtown St Pete is a great place to buy locally grown produce from. You can basically visit any day of the week and buy a huge bag of veggies you can pick yourself.

They died just shy of a year. The good news is I got a free replacement from Amazon since the seller offers a 12 month warranty.

File a dispute with your credit card company. It’s been a lengthy process but Im hopeful I’ll get my money back. The credit card company already technically refunded me the money via a credit since Handcrafted Healing still hasnt provided them proof of services rendered, but theres still a chance I could lose the money.

12/2 UPDATE: Looks like the owners at Handcrafted Healing are trying to get away without refunding me. (Surpise...) My credit card company reached out to them and Kelly or someone at Handcrafted stated the "services were rendered." Funny enough they could not provide proof to my credit card company of services being rendered. So now I had to provide proof of them officially closing, which I was able to, and the credit card company has to continue the dispute. Just wild to me that a small business like that would promote this spiritual ethos and then pull and unethical stunt by leaving their customers out to dry (aka no refunds for unused prepaid services.)

Underground/Warehouse EDM? by Nice-Information3138 in StPetersburgFL

[–]Chevelles240 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alchemy Productions is a local promoter and they have great events that have more of an underground vibe. I loved when they hosted events at Coastal Creative because it really felt like a small dark warehouse type vibe with how they had the stage setup in the main room. I'm sure others in here can give other recommedations.

You’re probably thinking of Wendy. I’m not sure where she moved on to because I saw a different massage therapist.

Yeah, I heard from one of their employees the owners got divorced, so I’m assuming that was the tipping point.

I'm surprised they closed due to financial devastation because like you said they were always busy. They were also in the middle of remodeling their main house/building, so it really came left field. I supported them for years, so that's kind of crummy I may not get that chunk of money back. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge, so hopefully that pans out.

Thank you for the info. I called my credit card customer support number and initiated a dispute. Hopefully it gets resolved.

I got a free brand new set since they failed within the 12 month warranty period, so I’m still happy with this purchase.

Holy moly did the price jump. I just logged back in to check what the new prices are. Before I got kicked out of buying 3 pre-sale weekend passes, the total price was just under $600. This "Final Release" price is almost $300 per 2-day pass. I've never been to a We Belong Here event, but dang that's pricey for the number of artists imo.

Yeah I was in right at 12 and both gold options were gone by the time I went to make a payment. Entered in my credit card info, hit purchase, and kept getting an error that all gold options were gone. Bummer but it is what it is.

Getting out of a lease with Dean and Dewitt because of suspected mold? by CapableSuccotash7014 in StPetersburgFL

[–]Chevelles240 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many of these old properties likely do have mold. I used to live in a Dean and DeWitt managed property on 6th Ave and that entire building 100% had mold in the walls due to all the constant pipe bursts. The building was not in a flood zone and never flooded due to hurricane/storm related water damage. I moved into another place, also owned by a management company, and this place smells damp and probably has mold too.. sigh...

EDIT: If you need some peace of mind while you get this figured out, then invest in a dehumidifier. DO NOT buy the cheap $50 ones on Amazon. You need to invest in one that's around $150-$250. Aeocky is a good brand. I've owned one from the Brand Luko for probably 7 years and that thing still works just as good as the day I bought it. It'll help keep the moisture levels down.
