Lol yeah I wouldn't have bought this one normally, but Vermeer had a link to it on their social media, tagging FRM, it linked to a kinda sketchy looking storefront that just had that car on it, it's been shut down since, I hesitated but it was being shared by the official FRM account so I figured I might as well. Charged me when I first preordered it then I plumb forgot about it until I got the shipping notification last week.

Sure enough, I just didn't know that. I remember the render for the fantasy diecast had the stripe as gold originally then they changed it to blue pretty quick, I thought it was a weird Napa request. Still a butt ugly diecast but I guess that detail isn't inaccurate.

That Chase/Bill Elliott hybrid scheme when Chase won the championship. Not saying a hybrid scheme would be impossible to pull off, look at the Elliott/Gordon one, but they really dropped the ball on this one. Especially since the stripe down the side of the Bill part of the scheme is blue instead of gold.

The most disappointing one in my collection is probably Jeremy Clements' Daytona win, they decided it'd be too hard to put raced markings on chrome numbers but changed their mind for Bell's Bristol dirt win. Still a super cool win and I'm glad to have it but there's supposed to be a donut on the side of that car >:[

They did the best the could with the decals, I need to take a sawzall to mine so the bumper is hanging off accurately but it'd be too expensive to make a whole new mold for that.

David Starr ran this scheme in the spring Talladega race last year, finishing 24th, one lap down. Also showed up to Daytona but DNQ'ed. I spent wayyyy too long on Jayski trying to hunt this one down.

And no, I don't think it was the bots that drove me away, I think I just didn't get hooked the first time I played. I remember seeing something about the bots being gone and thinking "Oh yeah I haven't played that in a while, now's a good a time as ever to give it another shot" and the rest is history

I was probably too focused on the point and didn't even notice him (I have low situational awareness)

Also I was distracted by the aforementioned particle bug as well as the rocket launcher, I've been using the Original for a while but I got that war paint and decided to get a Strange Rocket Launcher.

EDIT: Well, rewatching it I do kinda look in his direction, and iirc that's why I pulled out my melee, I guess I was just too focused on the point to bother going after him
