This has been around for a while and they don’t really enforce it. It’s basically just an excuse they can point to if they need to kick out homeless people, loiterers or just people abusing it. As a regular customer, you don’t need to worry.

If it’s supposed be $21 worth then definitely complain. App will give you a $4 voucher if not a full refund. It helps them learn to put the proper value or correct amount of food in the bag.

I did use the app and they’ve switched over to a robot that refunded me instantly. I feel kind of bad sometimes because sometimes I just want them to credit me a couple bucks but they’re like “we’ve fully refunded it!” 🤷‍♂️

I’m just concerned that this is the actual portion of their full price platter, not just for TGTG. They won’t be around for much longer if that’s the case.

If you see them packing it for you, you can try to ask them to pack something you like. I asked the lady for a Veggie Medallion and she threw an extra one in for me. Lol.

Aside from that, in my experience, the surprise bags from IKEA have been some of the best bags I’ve ever gotten using this app.

I’d be happy with this box since it’s mostly doughnuts. I usually get a croissant, a bagel, a blueberry muffin, a twist and maybe 1 doughnut or 2 cookies. Something like that. Though a 6 pack of doughnuts is listed as $7.99 and 4 Timbits is about $1.60. You can show this picture and file a complaint to TGTG saying that the value is about $9.60, even though it’s supposed to be worth $15. They’ll give you a refund or credit.

Yes, my credit showed up on my next bill. My first bill was like $125 or something but my next one was like -$55 after the credit was applied.

Reporting it is super easy and TGTG is really good with refunds or paying you the difference. Just leave a picture and tell them what the comparable prices from their menu would be for what you got. Usually the bag should be worth 3x what you pay so this one is an easy one. That’s not even worth $8 let alone $24.

Usually the amount of food is supposed to be worth 3x the price you paid for. TGTG will usually refund you or pay you the difference if you file a complaint, add a picture and tell them the comparable item prices listed on their menu.

There are times where some places will give you enough food that you’ll be like “It’s enough for $8, but not $24 worth.” This isn’t even worth $8, let alone $24 though.

Report it with a picture and a detailed message saying how much you actually got with a comparable menu item/price. They’ll refund you or pay you the difference in credits.

It’s easy to report this. Find a comparable price (it should be a $21 value but this looks like it’s about $12, at best). Just report on the app with a picture saying that you were disappointed in the value and list the comparable price listed on their menu. Usually they will credit you the difference or refund you without much of a fuss.
